So a first for me - photographing a bride getting ready on a sail boat! These prairie-girl legs of mine may have been {ahem} just a little wobbly, even though the boats was docked lol. Despite the fact that I was secretly terrified that I was going to trip on a rope and fall into the ocean, I absolutely loved the uniqueness of Brenda + Matthew's wedding. Their friends and family arrived by both land and by sea, and it was the perfect day on St. Margaret's Bay. Brenda might have been my coolest bride to date, she was so relaxed and the happiness positively radiated off her. We can all agree that weddings are one of the happiest events to attend, and this wedding was certainly no exception. The wharf at the Sailing Club was lined with smiling faces as Brenda and Matt tied the knot, both literally and figuratively. The warmth of these two permeated their day, as friends and family all pitched in to make it an amazing day. From the delicious homemade chowder and the cake they passed out themselves, the sweet friend who played guitar at the ceremony, to the colourful flags their friends somehow managed to hoist up their mast, it was a day full of meaning and personal touches. Definitely a day this prairie-girl won't soon forget:). Thank you Brenda and Matthew for sharing your day with me, it was incredible!
