When Monique contacted me to do her maternity session my photographer brain immediately went to flower crowns and flowing white dresses. It's like my spider sense was tingling, and for some reason I envisioned her and her sweet little Mikaela on some beach bathed in gorgeous summer light. When we met for coffee I was thrilled when she started talking about - you guessed it - crowns and dresses and beaches!!! Gah, these ladies and their lovely gentleman did not disappoint.
We had an unbelievably magical session at Micou's Island, complete with both deer and doula friends (more on those doula friends soon!), magical forests and toads, a breathtaking sunset, and a rising tide that almost stranded us there for the night. Monique, you are absolutely glowing, and your family is simply the sweetest. Thank you so much, I cannot wait to meet your newest addition!
